Hi, I’m Haru — founder of Club Fio, Tokyo and author of "Ma."

I’ve always believed that what we create and what we wear can be more than surface — they can be a quiet rebellion, a love letter to who we are, and a way to move through the world with confidence, grace, and intention.

My journey has taken me from Japan to years abroad, and then back again. Returning home, I felt like a stranger in my own culture. But through that distance, I began to see Japan with new eyes — and slowly, I fell back in love with it. The calm, the craftsmanship, the beauty in restraint — they became my greatest inspiration, both as a designer and as a writer.

The women who inspire me most are grounded, radiant, and unapologetically themselves. They lead with heart, live boldly, and carry a quiet strength. Their spirit is woven into everything I create — from a dress or brooch to the words of Ma.

Club Fio, Tokyo was born from this space: a slow-luxury house where meaning matters more than mass, and where every piece is crafted with intention. "Ma" is its sister — a guide to rediscovering your purpose, finding your core, and living with fulfillment.

My designs and words are inspired by contrasts: coastal serenity and city energy, vintage glamour and modern clarity. I believe in investing in yourself, in quality over quantity, and in reminders that make you feel like the heroine of your own story.
